Long Beach, California - Our congratulations go out to Team Motorola's Michael Andretti for his 42nd Champ Car win.
As most will agree, Sunday's CART race offered one of the most spectacular finishes in years, with a .466 second difference between first place Andretti and Team Rahal's Jimmy Vasser.
As always, strategy and luck are factors. In the case of this weekend, an unrelated yellow flag hurt Vasser and gave Andretti the advantage that led to his victory. Alloy Racing Covers would like to recognize Jimmy Vasser and congratulate him, as well, on a fine race.

For the first time in our 30-year history we demonstrated the 'steel side' of our business to the public with a booth at the Long Beach Convention Center. Industry professionals and the public had the chance to visit with us to discuss their particular needs pertaining to their various heat problems. We spoke to individuals about everything from Motor Home Applications, Long Haul Truck Applications, Street Car Applications, Starter Applications and everything in between.
Many race fans inquired about products that would help control under-hood temperatures of their turbo-powered streetcars. Custom turbo covers for street vehicles are in the prototype stage at this time. As with our race-quality Turbo Covers, these street products will help to solve radiant heat that currently plagues many vehicles.
